Many of Cottam Nursery School’s great staff team have been with us for several years with the longest serving accruing 18 years of service. This loyalty and positive ‘team spirit’ reflects what we all say “it is a lovely place to work”. As you can see if staff are happy, children enjoy growing in a lovely ‘can do’ atmosphere.
Our Staff’s Commitment
All the team at Cottam Nursery School are highly qualified and are very loyal and 100% committed to our principles. Many have been with us for several years. As a matter of course, staff are DBS (formerly CRB) checked with the Government’s Disclosure and Barring Service.
Problem Solving Teaching
Your child is in very safe hands with Cottam Nursery School team, both physically, emotionally and developmentally. Our staff are always focused and on site. They are not shared over different locations – something that can defocus and occur in larger nursery chains.
Professional Staff Development
We invest heavily in the training of our staff – and it shows. They have a great reputation in liaison with all our 15 feeder schools in Lancashire. Primary teachers always visit us every year to ensure a smooth pathway exists for your child into primary school.
